A small group of islands off the coast of Mac.Robertson Land, about 20 km ESE of Douglas Islands. Plotted from ANARE air photographs taken in 1959. This group is the closest to Auster Rookery and has provided a camp site for ANARE parties visiting the colony. So named because of its proximity to Auster Rookery.
