A small island in the northern part of the Swain Group, Windmill Islands, about 1 km west of Cameron Island. The region was photographed by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47), ANARE (1956 and 1962) and the Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1956). The islands north of Wilkes were surveyed by C.R. Eklund, scientific leader at Wilkes in 1957.
