A group of mountains on the coast of Mac.Robertson Lane, about 20 km south-west of Scullin Monolith, comprising Mount Hinks, Mount Kennedy, Mount Marsden and Mount Rivett. Land was seen in this vicinity during aeroplane flights by BANZARE under Mawson on 31 December 1929 and 5 January 1931. The area was visited by BANZARE on 13 February 1931, when a landing was made at Scullin Monolith. In January-February 1931, personnel on several Norwegian whalers sketched and photographed this coast and called these mountains Gustav Bull Fjella, after Captain Gustav Bull, at that time whaling manager on the factory ship Thorshammer.
