A cove just E of Budnick Hill on the N side of Bailey Peninsula, Windmill Islands. First mapped from air photos taken by USN Operation HighJump, 1946-47. Named by ANCA for Geoffrey D.P. Smith, Senior Technical Officer (buildings) with the Antarctic Division, Melbourne, a member of the team that planned and supervised the construction of nearby Casey Station.
