An island just north of Boffa Island in the southern part of the Windmill Islands. Plotted from air photographs taken by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47). The island was called Bosner Rock after P Bosner a member of one of the parties from USN Operation Windmill (1947-48) which worked in the Windmill Islands. The term island is considered more appropriate than rock.
